How to Use This Guide

This guide tells you all you need to know to install and maintain Madge adapters and drivers.

It is divided into three main sections:

Details of adapters supported by each operating system, together with how to install the appropriate driver software. Descriptions of all Madge adapters and supported drivers.

Diagnostics and Configuration

Details of how to configure drivers; protocol-specific configuration; details of useful utilities allowing you to, for example, check file integrity, protect your adapter configuration, manage adapters, perform diagnostics on adapters, and upgrade drivers; troubleshooting and support information.

Advanced Features

Details of features and technologies that help you to get the most out of your Madge adapters and network functionality. For example, how to provide fault tolerance by mirroring adapters, how to use adapter Wake-On-LAN technology to switch a computer on from a low power state.

You can use the Contents List in the pane on the left to navigate this guide:

	Click a plus icon or associated book to open the book, listing its components in the Contents List.
	Click on the relevant minus icon to close a book.
	Double-click a title to display the associated topic in this pane.

Other navigational aids include the Tables of Contents that appear in this pane when you click a book title, the See Also lists of associated information at the bottom of most pages, and the Index and Search tabs in the pane on the left.
