When you telephone technical support, you will save time if you have the following information to hand:
The name of your adapter
The driver name and version. To find this information, run MVER.EXE or MVER32.EXE (see Reporting Version Information and Checking the Checksum)
The name and version of your operating system and any patches
The make and model of your computer
The configuration details of your adapter. To find this information, run Madge Assist (see About Assist)
Any error messages that the system has displayed regarding the current problem (see Errors)
The BIOS version number
