Key Features
Security
The Access Server implements
the Madge Security Model.
This model defines an architecture for:
- Protection against casual intrusion
- Data encryption
- Mutual authentication using digital certificates
- Firewall to protect the wired LAN from wireless intrusion
-
VPN (Virtual Private Networks)
The Madge Security Model uses the industry standards,
such as 802.1x, SNMP, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, EAP-PEAP, WPA, WPA2, dynamic WEP and RADIUS, for open, multi-vendor
compatibility.
